The Woman Caught in Adultery, Part 4: Conversations With a Friend: Jennifer Garcia Bashaw

In the spirit of seeking God together, we conclude our series about The Woman Caught in Adultery with a conversation with Dr. Jennifer Garcia Bashaw.

Jennifer is a professor at Campbell University and the author of “Scapegoats: The Gospel through the Eyes of Victims.” We talk about her book and how reading the gospels through the eyes of victims helps us better understand the mission of Jesus. As a bonus, we learn about scholar Rene’ Girard, his understanding of scapegoats in society, and how we can help reduce violence toward victims. Finally, Jennifer helps us understand better ways to read the Bible and why English majors are the best. Those are her words, I promise!
